Ariel & George\u00a0Carl House Garden Wedding<\/span><\/h2>\n

For Ariel and George, their springtime\u00a0<\/span>Carl House<\/span><\/a> wedding was as close to perfection as you get. They chose this event space\u00a0because they wanted a garden wedding and the homely charm of an old southern mansion. Chirping birds, a cloudless blue sky, and flowers in full bloom greeted the couple and their guests. The photographers were getting their last set of photos as the nervous Albany State University alums prepared feverishly for the start of their ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stunning bride at Carl House Wedding<\/span><\/h3>\n

The bride, a vision of beauty, was escorted into the garden to her waiting groom. She wore a Galina Signature tulle-over-lace trumpet gown with a plunging V-neckline and cap sleeves. The heart-shaped cutout at the back of the dress was breathtaking. This bride looked gorgeous from any angle. He described how he felt seeing her for the first time on their wedding day. “I was emotional, anxious, and excited all in one. \u00a0She was stunning, and the smooth-flowing dress perfectly fit her.” <\/span><\/p>\n

Wedding photography in the gardens<\/span><\/h3>\n

After the ceremony in the garden, ringed with beautiful flowering azaleas, the guests’ cocktail hour fare included chicken and waffles. The band played jazz and R&B. In the interim, the photographers and wedding party gathered in the gardens for the post-ceremony photography session. As you can see, the camera loved this beautiful couple, and<\/span> the photographs seem to capture their love. The newlyweds\u00a0descended on one side of the twin-curved staircases into the ballroom as their family and friends acknowledged them with cheers and applause.<\/span><\/p>\n

Romantic First Dance<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Luther Vandross’s song “Here and Now” was chosen for the newly married couple’s first dance. They\u00a0radiated happiness as they got lost in each other’s embrace on the dance floor, seemingly shutting out the world. A week’s vacation in Tulum, Mexico, was not long enough for their honeymoon. They enjoyed some time off after a year of planning their dream Carl House wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Atlanta wedding photographers, we were\u00a0delighted to be their chosen professional wedding photographers to photograph their engagement and storybook wedding day. This mix of documentary, artistic, and fashion photography beautifully chronicled their wedding day. These are some of their favorite creative wedding photographs. This was our first time photographing a wedding at the charming and historic Carl House wedding venue in Auburn, Georgia, a ninety-minute drive from our Atlanta home base. It is a much-desired location for wedding photography. As a photographer, I like the beautiful gardens, including a picture-perfect gazebo, pergola, and waterfall feature. The old-world charm and elegance of the Carl House mansion, with its grand ballroom and curved staircase, is perfect for that grand entrance. The white columns and covered porches only enhance the charm of this facility.<\/span><\/p>\n
