Biltmore Atlanta Wedding | Candice & Matthew
Candice’s father proudly escorted her into the luxurious Georgian Ballroom for her stunning Biltmore Ballrooms Atlanta wedding. Emotions ran high as he beamed with pride, while Candice displayed a mix of nerves, excitement, and happiness as she glided towards her eagerly waiting groom. Standing on the platform, her soon-to-be husband gazed lovingly at her as she held her father’s arm. Who could have imagined that a chance meeting three years ago in Chicago would lead to this magical moment?
Candice was a vision in her sleeveless white Matthew Christopher ‘Brielle’ trumpet wedding gown, paired with Nina NY ‘Vinnie’ crystal-embellished sandals. Her beauty shone through every emotion on her face. She smiled and waved, fighting back tears of joy. As she reached the end of the aisle, she bowed and looked up at her soon-to-be husband, her emotions barely contained. Her father smiled and rubbed her arm reassuringly. She radiated elegance with her left hand clutching her father’s arm for support and her right hand holding a bouquet of white and red roses. Her hair was pulled back, with long curls cascading over her left shoulder. Matthew later wrote, “She looked gorgeous and happy; it made me smile.”
The Georgian Ballroom Wedding Ceremony
The Georgian Ballroom at the Biltmore Ballrooms Atlanta required minimal decoration. The wedding designer embraced the ballroom’s inherent elegance. White seats with gold Chiavari chairs complemented the double marble columns and intricately designed plaster ceiling. The warm wooden floors and mint-colored interior provided a stunning backdrop. Floral bouquets atop three-foot-high box columns adorned the aisle while sunlight streamed through the large Palladian windows, bathing the room in a warm glow.
Preparation at The Loews Hotel Atlanta
The bride and her bridal party spent the previous night at The Loews Atlanta Hotel in Midtown, just a short distance from the Biltmore Ballrooms. On the wedding day, the suite buzzed with activity. Early photographs captured the bride and her bridesmaids in gold monogrammed silk robes, with Candice in a white robe with Tiffany-colored monograms. Their dresses hung on display in the background. The Loews Hotel offered numerous creative opportunities for our photographers, including using the frosted glass tower in the Saltwood Charcuterie & Bar to showcase the stunning wedding gown.
Preparation at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel
The groom and his groomsmen prepared at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel, even closer to the Biltmore Ballrooms. Our photographers enjoyed capturing the lively energy of this group, including a memorable moment of one groomsman lifting another to take him to the limousine. The Renaissance Hotel provided the perfect setting for our photographers to document the fun and camaraderie of the groom’s party.
Cocktail Hour
During the cocktail hour in the Biltmore Ballrooms’ main lobby, guests savored a delectable selection of appetizers, including stuffed cherry tomatoes with herbed Boursin cheese, chicken pot stickers with soy dipping sauce, and crab cakes with red pepper aioli on corn tortilla rounds. While guests enjoyed the delicious fare, our photographers captured beautiful moments in the courtyard garden.
The Biltmore Ballrooms Atlanta Wedding Reception
Candice and Matthew’s grand entrance into their Georgian Ballroom wedding reception was met with thunderous applause. Their family and friends welcomed them like rock stars. The couple chose Ray Charles’ version of “Georgia” for their first dance, embracing each other under the romantic glow of the massive chandeliers. The evening continued with a sumptuous dinner served by Bold American, adding to the event’s grandeur. Guests danced late into the night, thanks to DJ Perfect’s music.
The following day, the two attorneys, with passports in hand, escaped to Belize in Central America for some well-needed downtime. Their Biltmore Ballrooms Atlanta wedding was a fantastic celebration and party. These are some of our favorite photographs from our photographers.
