Treneva & Tosin’s Mason Fine Art Wedding

Treneva and Tosin love the arts, so it was not a surprise that they would choose someplace artsy for their special day. After their first visit they knew they would have Mason Fine Art wedding and reception. They had come a long way since that from that first meeting at Three Dollar Cafe. He rode in like a knight in shining armor to save her when an altercation broke out at the sports bar. That was her sign that she had found her prince, as she says ‘it’s been magic since then’. Now after many months of planning it was time for their Mason Fine Art wedding.

Mason Fine Art Wedding Ceremony

We asked what he thought when he saw his bride on wedding day. He said, ‘she looked like a princess, her dress was amazing.” Those were our thoughts exactly. Escorted by her grand mother, she walked slowly but confidently into the cavernous gallery space at Mason Fine Art. Her Symphony Bridal wedding gown looked amazing. The ivory dress had radiant lace on net over satin A-line silhouette with tank top cap sleeves and a chapel train. The sweetheart neckline and custom beaded strap helped to clinch the deal for this dress. To complement her very short hairstyle our bride wore a single strand beaded tiara headband and dangling chandelier earrings. The white and pink rose bouquet had touches of white hydrangea and dusty miller leaves.

Our groom perspired and fought back the tears as his bride approached. The high key color palette of the gallery space gave our bride an angelic glow, as she approached her waiting groom. Her thoughts were of how handsome he looked in his dark blue tuxedo, black bow tie and pocket square. His boutonniere of white roses and dusty miller leaves contrasted well against his dark lapel. The wedding ceremony was short, full of emotions and smiles. As the minister pronounced the husband and wife, the groom kissed his new wife and pumped his fist. They jumped the broom decorated with a large burgundy bow and headed down the aisle as the assembled cheered.

Fine Art, wedding photography, pimento sandwiches and fried green tomatoes

For the post wedding photography session we took advantage of the many unique spaces through out the museum. The colorful floor to ceiling doors separating the main galleries was a fitting backdrop for the large family portraits. Our photographers utilized the entire space to capture arresting photographs of the couple and wedding party. During the cocktail hour the guests discussed the art in the gallery, and sampled pimento sandwiches and fried green tomatoes. Our photographers wrapped up the portrait session of the couple and they headed to the wedding reception.

A Couple of Forevers, Nigerian Money Dance and two wardrobe changes

The bride and groom danced their way into their wedding reception to thunderous applause. Their guests were standing, cheering and some were tossing money. After their grand entrance Treneva and Tosin romantically embraced each other on the dance floor and had their first dance to ‘A Couple of Forevers’ by Chrisette Michele. As their guests dinned on braised beef and pecan salmon our couple slipped away for a change of attire. The bride retuned to the festivities wearing a coral bead headdress, beaded Edo blouse, necklace and earrings. The enthusiastic crowd surrounded the couple on the dance floor and showered them with bills during the traditional Nigerian money dance. After a short break it was time to cut their round four-tiered wedding cake, fading gradually from a blue base to a white top with a little cluster pink and red roses.

Sparklers, a good night kiss and a Bentley Continental, ends their Mason Fine Art wedding

Another wardrobe and the bride and groom are now in traditional white and blue outfits. They partied late into the night and now it was time for the celebrations to end. The partiers made their way to the front of the Mason Fine Art gallery and with sparklers alight cheered the couple as they exited the building.  One lingering kiss later while holding a small ‘just married’ flag our couple waved good-bye and drove off in a white Bentley Continental.

Mason Fine Art wedding photography review

We had lots of fun with this couple, a blast. For our exit interview they wrote:

“Firstly, if you don’t use Jaxon, you would be missing out on a photographic journey that really warms your soul and heart. From the very 1st meeting we had with Jaxon, my fiancé then, and my planner, he was professional, classy, and he had snacks galore, lol. He made us feel very comfortable even though my then fiancé at the time seemed uneasy about the whole creative process (spending money), lol.

Our engagement session took place on a canvas of murals close to Atlanta Beltline; it really helped to illustrate our wedding canvas especially with our venue being at an art gallery. Jaxon from engagement session to wedding day proved why you shouldn’t use anyone else. He came with pins, safety clips, and gadgets and things to ensure that nothing goes wrong. Many times he calmed me down when I wanted to freak out. He plucked any brown flowers or anything that didn’t seem to be in place.”
